Inline blister sealing equipment creates plastic blisters in the form of “plates.”

Flat-plate blister sealers use heat along with a die to form cavities for blister packaging. Air then blows on the blister plates to help the packaging stand apart. Once plates are formed, blisters are filled and the equipment seals backing to the blister plate. Many products such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics are packaged using flat-plate blister sealers.
