Chain checkweigher equipment verify the weight of a product to ensure quality control. The products are conveyed by two chains usually over a load cell, a strain gauge or a weigh cell. If the product weighs too much or doesn’t weigh enough, the checkweigher removes the product from the production line. Several checkweighers can also sort rejected products into piles by the use of a push-off rejector. The most common use for chain checkweighers is for bottles and boxes.
