Used Clamshell Packaging
Clamshell packaging uses a single blister layer that’s folded over to create a hinge in the packaging’s center. The cavity can hold products, including loose items, while the sides of the clamshell close together to keep the packaging sealed when not in use.
Businesses can use stock or customized clamshell packaging to perfectly fit products, and the closure is frequently sealed using heat. Some clamshell packages are unsealed to allow users to open and close the package, which is ideal for products entailing more than one use. Clamshells are used to package many different types of products including foods, tools, and electronic components, among others.
Take a look at our selection of used clamshell packaging equipment below and we’ll help you find the right machine for your packaging system.
